Walmart Stepping Up

Well thanks to Skippy, we know now that Walmart will be carrying the iPhone 3G soon. Now that Walmart is going to be strong in the wireless department, every other store can officially close. Cheers.

Is it cool to be a twit-ter?:

Ok so there are a lot of social networking sites, so many now and probably to come, but the “it” girl of social sites right now is Twitter, which I THiNK I like, I mean yes it’s starting to get annoying about how everyone is saying it’s so great, it is more limited then Myspace, like no pictures, and no independent music artist stressing to get there music played on the radio(actually that’s a pretty good thing for me, I can’t really help you fam, but I digress) if you haven’t checked it out then go, to me it’s a good marketing tool for your other social networking sites, like if you post something new on myspace/facebook/youtube that you’d like to draw attention to, if you have a big Twit-ter following, your Clean….

Ssssooo with Various sources including Walt Mossberg leaking info on the 3G iPhone dropping in June, its causing mixed reactions, A Lot of people, like me, are Mad Hype because it’s very promising to possibly have a phone with the capability of ichat, Clean, but some people are tight, like me, who the hell is gonna have another 3 or 4 hundred or more bucks for a significant hardware upgrade(which means I need it) when less than a year ago I dropped cash on this one that’s about to feel ancient already, and I love my iphone but once again Apple Come On!

But on the upside who knows what else it will feature……

On Thursday April 17 Microsoft Dropped its newest sensation at the AT&T store on madison Ave, the Surface, Let’s see what its all about, and how it affects you! In my opinion its mos def Clean!

Please don’t stop the music

Makers of the Blackberry device are set to launch a new application that will work on the Pearl, Curve and 8800 Series devices, allowing users to purchase and download full tracks. This marks only the second mobile music service developed exclusively for mobile phones/PDA, the first was Nokia’s. Now of course you want to know, Can you still download songs to the Blackberry that you didn’t pay for? I’m not sure but most likely not, but if so….Blackberry will pass everything else out there, well actually they are in the lead now, but that would be Clean. (Shout K. Civil)

Ok I’m not gonna say anything yet, I’m still gonna go to the Apple store and review all of the new stuff, I was kinda waiting for this to happen so I could knock it out all at once……

To the death:

So remember a couple of weeks ago we here at Tats Tech Talk told you about the High Def dvd cold war between blu ray and HDDVD, well it’s Not looking good for HD-DVD. Toshiba announced that they will no longer be producing HD DVD players, the main maker of HDDVD players, oooouch (Toshiba also produced the HD DVD Player for xbox 360).

AND
Walmart, Target, Blockbuster, and Netflix also announced that they will only be carrying Blu-Ray movies, I don’t see how much longer they can last in this economy with hardly any outlets, but if they do it will be the comeback story of the new century.

Danger Danger Microsoft is Coming!

Ok so, since Yahoo hasn’t gone though for Microsoft, and speaking of that, Yahoo kept it gangsta and was like “matter fact open the safe, and here’s six shots just in case”

And since “the soft” has a hole burning in their pocket they went ahead and bought Danger inc, they will now kind of own the sidekick. We don’t know what they are planning to do with it, they didn’t release the details of the acquisition yet, but it did go down. Now Danger owns the sidekick but Sharp mfg’s it, and Motorola partnered up with the Slide this past holiday, but I’ve heard about some recalls on those, I’m sure good ol’ MS will now control the OS which may make sidekick a serious business tool, instead of being known as a cool toy, like it is now But it will have a LONG way to come if they want to compete with Apples iPhone, or even RIM’s new 9000 coming……..

Exciting News

According to CNET, CEO Hamid Akhavan says 3G will be coming to T-Mobile in the 4th Quarter, this exciting news! Now if you purchase a 3g phone, at least with T-mobile when this happens, you’ll Actually be able to get proper service(if the device is worth a damn) this means you’ll be able to email and talk on the phone at the same exact time, Clean!!!!!

Death Of A Giant

This week Polaroid has announced that the ‘Polaroid Instant Camera’ is dead. I can’t help but to laugh at Polaroid, I mean technically that camera has been dead as soon as the developed film off of digital pictures, and it was checkmate as soon as the digital camera dropped, so it’s been a slow death, and you know what they say about slow death’s, it’s in a better place now!
