TATSTECHTALK.com Review:

Twitterberry beta .9 version;

Ok So I’ve had the new Twitterberry for a few hours now And I have to Say……I do like it….I’ve heard the complaints of the background is kindaoldschool and not right…and there are a couple of  people telling me its hurting their blackberry(I cant lie, it was hurting me too, but right now its clean!) to those people,  You could try to delete the .9 and re install, or maybe for now you should go back to .8 until its not beta. But for those of us pushing forward on .9 version, here’s whats cool about it……

1 Bigger Print-I like this….I’m Blind from theses damn puter screens

2 Retweet option-OK who doesn’t like to save time…and with all this retweeting anyway this is sweet

Well it went down today. Sorry there was no Mac Mini. Here are the major announcements:

  • iTunes will now be (for the most part) DRM FREE !!! That means its now okay for you to buy a song and do whatever the hell with it, including put it on devices other than an iPod.
  • You can now download music to your iPhone 3G, without being connected to WiFi
  • The 17″ Unibody Macbook pro was also announced and will be shipping soon. Although they mentioned that the battery life has drastically improved (8hrs), it’s non-removable. How do you guys feel about that??
  • For those of you iLife and iWork users, the 09 version is shipping with tons of new features. We will have to dig into these in a later post. The new Geo-Tagging / Integration with Facebook is very slick.
  • The new version of Garage band has something I think is very exciting for the music industry. You can now learn how to play musical instruments, using your Mac. The software comes bundled with video lessons from pro-musicians. To spice things up even more, Apple is reaching out to popular artists and offering premium lessons for around $4.95 a video. This is the kind of progress that the music industry needs. Who knows what this could lead to…..
  • iPhone 2.2 is out!!

    iPhone Street View of Times Square NYC
    iPhone Street View of Times Square NYC

    Wow! Street View, Train and Bus Directions, Much Faster / Smoother performance, Over-The-Air Podcast downloads, More keyboard options, improved app store, better browsing and much more. I know I know, still no copy & paste, still no MMS, still no push notifications, but hey, at least they’re working. If you’re in the tri-state you will LOVE the bus and train schedules on this one. You can also ‘email your location.’ I’ve noticed better battery life, and I don’t think its placebo. Put your iPhone typing skills to the test, disable Auto-Correct, tell us how its working out for you. Read more »

    According to 9to5mac Sony and Apple may be working to bring DRM free music to iTunes (plus). This might be happening since Amazon’s DRM free store is getting so much love lately…think this could really go through?

    Flickr Gets Video

    Flickr, the online photo hosting giant, is now offering video hosting for its pro members, which means you have to Pay 24.95 for a year, which isn’t a bad price, but it’s not free, The main advantage over youtube is that flickr will be offering high quality, high framerate video You don’t have to be a pro member to view video, and the way it will really be Clean is it doesn’t have a flickr logo in the corner of your video, which it shouldn’t since you’re paying.
